The Saint John campus located downtown Saint John has been educating students since 1989 and has graduated over 2,400 students.

CompuCollege would like to announce that the ownership of the Saint John campus has changed and is now owned and operated by BGS Training. The staff of BGS Training, an Atlantic Canadian company, would like to welcome the Saint John campus to the organization.

Chris Kantor, formerly of our Fredericton campus, joins the Saint John campus as Campus Manager. Ms. Kantor has 22 years experience working with students in various positions, including 8 of those with CompuCollege Fredericton. Also joining the team is Greg Lambert and Sherry Kinney in the Admissions Department. In addition to current program offerings, the Saint John campus will now provide career training in: Network Administration, Pharmacy Technician, Health & Wellness, Interior Decorating and Travel and Tourism. The program was challenging and something I knew very little about before I started. The instructors were all extremely patient and willing to help. Sometimes staying after class and into their lunch hours to assist me. Even after asking the same question a hundred times they would answer cheerfully. 

My new career is challenging, never boring and I work with a wonderful group of people. I am literally using almost everything that I learned at CompuCollege – Word, Outlook, creating user accounts, troubleshooting software/ hardware problems, networking issues etc. 

The office staff was always friendly, cheerful and will to help with anything. They are professional in every way. My instructors were awesome  – always prepared, always helpful and extremely knowledgeable in the classroom. If I didn’t understand something, they would find a way to present it so I did understand. Career Services was unfailingly dedicated in helping me find a job, always upbeat and positive, even when I wasn’t. They are amazing at preparing people for their job search and they knows how to handle any situation. It was always wonderful to have the administration staff in the Testing Centre as they always made me feel calm before going into an exam and was always positive about the results even if they weren’t great. 

I gained a lot of confidence in myself by going back to school and have come away with not only a great career, but some wonderful friends as well. I would highly recommend CompuCollege to anyone who is considering going to school. It has made a tremendous difference in my life.

I loved learning about the human body and how it works. Pathophysiology was my favorite class. My instructors were always ready to give me extra help, even on their days off! I could not have succeeded without their dedication! 

The adminstration staff helped me out more than I could ever say. I feel I have a new friend! My instructors have continued to be a great mentors to me in my new career. I value their opinion and learned a lot from them. 

I learned to be an effective communicator with my clients. I learned to be thorough with my assessment and explain what I would be doing with confidence. I love the feeling I get when people are amazed with the results of Massage Therapy. It’s very exciting when they re-book an appointment!

The thing I liked the most about my program was learning about the medical field. I am applying just about everything I learned to my new job, especially the filing part. The medical terminology definitely makes the job easier too. I love that I’m so busy everyday and that I’m always learning new things about the medical field. 

All of the instructors were so willing to help and were very supportive. The office staff had an open door and mind, and were very helpful. Everyone seemed to show a genuine interest in the students and their success. 

My instructor really helped me get through some tough times, by being so helpful and understanding. She was very supportive and she never let me give up. She helped me make decisions about what I really wanted for a career. Thank you very much! Also, of course, my computer instructor. What can I say – I never left your class without a smile on my face, thanks for making computers not so boring. 

CompuCollege put me on the right path to where I really want to go with my life and my career. I’ve definitely reached some goals that I made for myself. I would just like to say thank you to all the staff for all the support and enthusiasm! All of my instructors were really great and I hope that future students will have as good an experience with them as I did. I’m glad to have met so many nice people!

I love working at Rocmaura – the staff are very helpful and fun, the residents are truly amazing, and one can get attached very easily. I have more compassion and a greater understanding for seniors. After doing home care for seven years, I had some knowledge of the way care is done, but after taking this course, I now understand why it is done this way. 

My instructor was/is very professional, caring and thorough in her teaching. She is also a great person and I felt comfortable confiding in her outside of class. She sent me out into the workplace with a lot of her professionalism and I will carry it with me until I no longer work. I really feel proud when I put my uniform on for work. 

The staff at CompuCollege are all very organized, people friendly, and do not treat you like a number. I found them all very helpful with anything that came up. Whenever I glance at my Diploma and grad hat on the wall, I feel a great sense of accomplishment, especially at 45 years old. 

I truly enjoyed my seven months at school. I got to meet some very nice people and the two instructors I had really left a great impact on my life. They taught me things I never knew about myself.

I liked that class time fit well with my home life – going ½ days allowed me to still enjoy time with my family. The instructors were helpful and knew when to let you figure it out own your own. At my new job I use Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook on a daily basis. 

My instructor was always so sincere and kind. She would say “Smiles go a long way”. I remember her when I am talking to “not so nice” people on the phone and smile. I talk to clients and potential clients most of the day so being kind and cheerful is a must. Talking with various sorts of interesting people all day is wonderful. I am moving up the ladder and all of these new contacts are great. 

Coming to CompuCollege changed my life: It was not like going to “school”. I met good friends, had helpful teachers and got a wonderful start to a new career. It taught me to have faith, aim for the stars, be patient and realize that I can do it!

Out of necessity, I found myself having to re-train at the age of 37. With an interest in the legal field I was fortunate to find a criminology program that would give me the training to enter this field.

The staff is helpful and supportive; they are available to answer any questions or concerns I may have. As a mature student, I found returning to school fun in a professional learning environment. Studying one subject at a time allows me to focus and the half-day schedule allows me time to juggle my family commitments.
