Complimentary Recruiting Services 

At CompuCollege, relationships are ongoing with employers to help provide suitable candidates that meet their staffing requirements. Complimentary recruiting services help employers find the right candidate for the job, as well as save the expense and time of costly recruiting procedures and advertisements. We are committed to ensuring that your experience with our school will be a mutually beneficial one. 

Our Career Services department has a mandate to develop partnerships with the business community while providing relevant practical experience for our students. As part of our diploma programs, students are required to complete a volunteer work placement. Our department assists both the student and the host company in the following  ways: 

• All students are evaluated by Career Services before they are approved for a work term placement.
• The student does not receive any remuneration for the work term placement, as it is part of their diploma program.
• Students are aware that their behaviour must be professional at all times.
• Employers will be provided with an evaluation form to be completed at the end of the work term.

Our students have a variety of educational backgrounds, from high school to university degrees. As well, there are many that have prior work experience and have returned to upgrade their skills.

Volunteer Work Terms 

Students graduate at various times of the year, and are required to complete their work placement at the end of their program. Our department assists both the student and the host company by: 

• Evaluating all students before they are approved for a work term placement
• Providing employers with general objectives for the placement and a short evaluation form to be completed at the end of the work term
